New look for Regent of Rotorua

We’ve recently completed a second iteration of the WordPress for the Regent of Rotorua website.

Version 2 has a vertical menu and large, gorgeous images to help showcase the new additions to the business. Some of which include new glamorous designer rooms, outdoor heated swimming pool, stunning restaurant and wine & cocktail bar.

The height of the design now expands to show all the content without having an internal scroll bar.

New airport website takes flight for Rotorua

Today marks the launch date for the brand spanking new website for the Rotorua International Website.

We took their thoughts and ideas and produced a clean, modern, functional website which is powered by the worlds greatest content management system (CMS), WordPress.
Their online presence has been future-proofed with a professionally built HTML5/CSS3 website design.

Cleaning up their dirty act

Today marks the launch of the new Geyserland 4.W.D. Club website.

If you looked at the old Geyserland 4.W.D. club website, pictured below left, prior to the revamp, you would have had no idea from looking at the site who it was for.

Their web editor approached us looking for a fresh modern website that was easily to update and more user friendly than their current site. After our initial meeting with the client, learning more about the Geyserland 4.W.D. Club and all the great work they do in the community (e.g. fund raising) we decided to become a sponsor and support them by providing our services.

Our first goal with the revamp was to create a muddy/dirty theme while remaining modern and readable.

The client is pleased and we are proud to be supporting such a generous local club.

Surf’s up for new east coast website

Last night we launched the new rebuilt site for Chalet Surf Lodge, a.k.a. Chalet Rendezvous.

We originally designed a family/beach theme for WordPress but then the client wanted to change their direction to market more to surfers, so we created this slightly more surfer-ish theme for their website.

This website has been in the pipeline for a couple of weeks while the client tried to get their current host to setup the mySQL database required for WordPress installation, but we’ve ended up hosting it for them to save hassle and to get the site up live sooner.

Redesigned website for landscape architect

Today marks the day we launched the revamped website for designpublicspace.co.nz
Ian Wallace contacted us wanting a site that was more search engine optimised and that could easily be updated in the future.

His old site lacked photos and was very outdated even though I was very pleased to see that it wasn’t built using tables!

We’ve recently launched the revamped Waiheke Island Hostels website, rebranded as Kina Backpackers.

The new owners wanted a modern funky website to relate better to their demographic.

Inflating your websites potential

Mark and Neil Wylie from Rotorua, New Zealand have a successful business fitting Central Tyre Inflation systems to trucks from all around the world that they designed and developed right here.

Their newly revamped website will give them a much more professional and engaging ‘shop front’ for any potential clients.

They wanted to be able to login from anywhere and publish new articles relating to their industry, make tweaks to their content and post photos of new installations they have completed.

We suggested the powerful yet simple and user friendly WordPress blogging/content management system.

Fresh new website for iconic custom bike builder

Jeff Anderson is going through some major changes at Kiwibikes in Rotorua. The iconic custom bike frame builder is moving shop from Hinemoa Street to next to the famous Zippy’s Cafe in Pukuatua Street.

He’s also taken on new staff and has recently re-branded. It’s an exciting time as Jeff’s business is going from strength to strength.

What better time to revamp his site to bring it inline and up to scratch with the rest of his business.

Rotorua’s leading geothermal experience gets facelift

The latest website from Hodgeman Web & Design went live last night.

Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland is Rotorua’s leading geothermal attraction and they wanted a new site to help reflect that.

Their tired and dated website needed a new lease on life and approaching Hodgeman Web & Design for a re-vamp was certainly a step in the right direction.
