New rural urban escape for Rotorua

We launched another website last night, powered by the worlds most popular Content Management System (CMS), WordPress.

Banksia Cottage is set on a lifestyle block 10mins North of Rotorua central city on State Highway 33. It’s a lovely small cottage with nice homely touches. Would be great for a small family or couple wanting something a bit more substantial than a square motel or hotel room. The kids will love the animals they have there: dog, cat, chickens, sheep and a pig.

Paddy and Jan are great hosts and we wish them all the best of luck as Rotorua gets set to be New Zealand’s newest international airport, taking direct flights to and from Sydney from December 12, 2009.

Surf’s up for new east coast website

Last night we launched the new rebuilt site for Chalet Surf Lodge, a.k.a. Chalet Rendezvous.

We originally designed a family/beach theme for WordPress but then the client wanted to change their direction to market more to surfers, so we created this slightly more surfer-ish theme for their website.

This website has been in the pipeline for a couple of weeks while the client tried to get their current host to setup the mySQL database required for WordPress installation, but we’ve ended up hosting it for them to save hassle and to get the site up live sooner.

Modern take on Waiheke Island backpackers

We’ve recently launched the revamped Waiheke Island Hostels website, rebranded as Kina Backpackers.

The new owners wanted a modern funky website to relate better to their demographic.
