Today marks the launch date for the new WordPress powered website for the Sexual Abuse Centre (Rotorua) Inc.

Eric from the centre contacted us wanting an uncluttered, professional web presence, so using the neutral ‘earthy’ colour palette and logo that was designed by the talented Glenn McLeary from Red Spot Design we designed this custom WordPress theme.

We had to tread carefully with such a topic, so the website needed to remain clean and not to overwhelming.

Today marks the launch of the new Geyserland 4.W.D. Club website.

If you looked at the old Geyserland 4.W.D. club website, pictured below left, prior to the revamp, you would have had no idea from looking at the site who it was for.

Their web editor approached us looking for a fresh modern website that was easily to update and more user friendly than their current site. After our initial meeting with the client, learning more about the Geyserland 4.W.D. Club and all the great work they do in the community (e.g. fund raising) we decided to become a sponsor and support them by providing our services.

Our first goal with the revamp was to create a muddy/dirty theme while remaining modern and readable.

The client is pleased and we are proud to be supporting such a generous local club.

Cooking away in the web design kitchen at Hodgeman Web & Design, we have some new projects under development.

Star Anise Kitchen

A well awarded, internationally recognised local Rotorua chef has contracted us to revamp their website to give them a clean modern ‘shop front’ from which to grow their business further.

staranise.co.nz

Geyserland 4WD Club

The local Rotorua 4WD Club approached Hodgeman Web & Design to ask for our help to bring their current website to life. With all the great fund raising that they do, we were more than happy to develop a smart new look for their club website and set it up on a Content Management System for this non profit organisation free of charge.

geyserland4wd.co.nz

Plus we’ve got another few in the pipeline so stay tuned for future updates.
Once these websites go live I’ll be sure to let you.
