Well, wasn’t Winter a blur!

We’ve been busily working through and have got a few more sites we can give you glimpse of before they hit the world wide web.

Currently under development are the following websites:

A design to HTML/CSS conversion to WordPress we’re working on for a local graphic designer, Glenn McLeary from Red Spot Design.

A revamp to their current site. We’re building it on WordPress utilizing custom post types for their products.

A local cycle shop is currently building a new premises and wants a new website to go along with it.

Final project work for 2009

Well 2009 is quickly coming to a close and we still have a couple of projects on the go. It’s been a very busy year for Hodgeman Web & Design with business turnover up over 30% from last year. We’ve got a couple of on-going projects that are still waiting on clients for content, so I haven’t mentioned them here. We’ve already got a few new clients line up for the new year, so things are looking good for 2010.

Jill Marshall Media

Jill Marshall is a talented writer and has a keen eye for attention to detail. This makes for a great copywriter and freelance journalist. She started her own company recently after been made redundant from her job of five plus years. She’s already got more work than she can deal with, but wanted to get a clean, professional website setup before Christmas to complete her business image.

Zebra Zoo Consulting

Linda Page from Page Design Limited contacted us wanting assistance in setting up a WordPress powered website for this new client of theirs. She has designed this concept that the client has signed off on, and we are converting it into a WordPress theme and assisting Linda in getting WordPress installed and the site setup.

We’ve been keeping a pretty low profile as we’ve been knuckling down designing and developing these websites, among others. Got more in store for you as we’ve managed to secure more clients before Christmas and have had many other positive meetings with potential clients.

Ian contacted me earlier this month needing a new website to promote his award winning global landscape architecture business. He liked our clean no-nonsense approach to website design and wanted to enlist our services.

Chalet Surf

Another word of mouth client rang me last week wanting a modern, functional website for her Wainui Beach accommodation. She had undergone rebranding and just needed a smart looking website to complete the package. She was having no luck and making slow progress with a local provider.

Banksia Cottage

My old landlord is converting the one bedroom unit my wife and I lived in for a few years into a self-contained rural urban escape. We’ve completed logo design and brochure rack DL cards, and are in the final stages of finalising website concept sign-off.
