Eric from the centre contacted us wanting an uncluttered, professional web presence, so using the neutral ‘earthy’ colour palette and logo that was designed by the talented Glenn McLeary from Red Spot Design we designed this custom WordPress theme.

We had to tread carefully with such a topic, so the website needed to remain clean and not to overwhelming.

Version 2 has a vertical menu and large, gorgeous images to help showcase the new additions to the business. Some of which include new glamorous designer rooms, outdoor heated swimming pool, stunning restaurant and wine & cocktail bar.

The height of the design now expands to show all the content without having an internal scroll bar.

By adding the following code into your themes functions.php file and simply adding the shortcode [listChildren] into the page content where you want your list of subpages displayed, you’ll have all the children pages for that particular page shown in correct hierarchy which is another great navigational aid for your website visitors.

By utilising the built-in WordPress function wp_list_pages, you can quickly show a list of all the sub pages for any particular page within your site.

NOTE: To make sure the list is displayed where you place the shortcode you need to return the results and not print or echo it within the function itself otherwise it will always appear at the top of the page.

Development began late 2009 and it’s great to finally have it launched and live on the interweb.
